Red salute to Comrade Red who gave his precious life last 3 January 2012 in Barangay (village) San Antonio, RTR, Agusan del Norte. Comrade Red died during the attack of the New People's Army in Front 21 under the Pulang Diwata Command against the 23rd Infantry Battalion / CAA detachment in said barrio (village).

Communist Party of the Philippines

The leadership and the entire membership of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), the Red fighters of the New People's Army (NPA) and all the revolutionary forces greet the entire Filipino nation on the eve of 2012, the New Year. In the face of the US-Aquino regime's intransigence in perpetuating its worn-out pro-imperialist, pro-landlord and onerous policies, the coming year will surely be marked by worsened economic and living conditions of the people.

An Igorot lawyer worthy of emulation, the courage and heroism of Atty. Claver was fully tested during the darkest years of martial law. He stood up together with a handful of fellow human rights lawyers then, alongside the oppressed people in opposing the US-Marcos dictatorship.
