The Cordillera People’s Democratic Front commends both the Agustin Begnalen Command (ABC) of the New People's Army-Abra Province for successfully repulsing a military attack, and the Lejo Cawilan Command (LCC) of the NPA-Kalinga Province for conducting a tactical offensive on a heavily fortified detachment simultaneously last 3 February.

On the other hand, the CPDF castigates the spin masters of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, including Col. Eliseo Posadas of the 503rd Brigade, for fabricating blatant lies to cover their losses and failures.

The Roselyn Pelle Command of the New People's Army-North Negros strongly condemns the atrocities committed by the RPA-ABB (paramilitary Revolutionary Proletarian Army - Alex Boncayao Brigade) and armed goons hired by Achilles Baldevia of Had Baldivia and Bernard Tribol of the Had RMP Realty Corporation of Barangay (village) Lopez Jaena in Sagay City, against the farmer-beneficiaries of Had Baldivia.

Colonel Eliseo Posadas is a big liar!

A unit of the Saulo Lumadao Front, under the Agustin Begnalen Command - New People's Army in Abra, foiled a precision attack by the 52nd Division Reconnaissance Company (DRC). The said unit of the Armed Forces of the Philippines is an elite attack force of the 5th Infantry Division, under the operational control of the 503rd Brigade. The incident happened on 3 February 2012 at 11:00 am, in Sitio (sub-village) Nagas-asan, Barangay (village) Ududiao, Sallapadan, Abra.  Contrary to claims by Col. Eliseo Posadas, Commanding Officer of the 503rd Brigade, no NPA was hurt or killed in the incident.

Punishment for encroaching on ancestral lands and perpetration of Oplan Bayanihan

On 3 February 2012, a team of the New People's Army conducted harassment operations against the detachment of 77th Infantry Battalion (Philippine Army) in Cagaluan Gate, Pasil, Kalinga. At 4:45 pm, the team opened fire on troopers inside the said detachment, wounding two regulars of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and one member of the paramilitary Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU).

Apolinario Gatmaitan Command - NPA-Negros

The Apolinario “Boy” Gatmaitan Command (AGC) salutes the unit of the New People's Army under the Roselyn “Ka Jean” Pelle Command (North Negros) for a successful military action against the 62nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army (IB-PA), where two elements of the enemy were killed in action, and many others wounded based on initial reports. The encounter took place in Hacienda Lope, Barangay (village) Andres Bonifacio in Cadiz City on 31 January 2012. The said tactical offensive frustrated the plan of the Armed Forces of the Philippines for a coordinated campaign against the NPA in the said area that has been declared by the military as insurgency-free lately.
