GML/Rode Morgen extends condolences on the death of Ka Roger

Dear comrades of CCP, family and friends of Ka Roger,

It is with great sadness that we heard of the death of comrade Gregorio “Ka Roger” Rosal.

On behalf of GML/Rode Morgen of the Netherlands we extend our condolences to you, comrades of the NDFP and CCP, and to the family and friends of Ka Roger. 

We have not met him personally, but we did read his name under many press releases, since he was the spokesperson of the Communist Party of the Philippines. He joined the revolutionary armed struggle almost 40 years ago already. He loved and served the masses. Even after his third heart attack in 2006 he continued his revolutionary tasks.

His death will grieve many people – but we will do our best to learn from his example, his determination, his friendship.
